My teaching is guided by my focus on the way that philosophy can be a part of how students critically examine their own lives. I am committed to teaching as a way to begin a collaborative project of learning. To that end, I encourage my students to see their development as writers and thinkers as an ongoing and cooperative process. I approach my students with the intention of helping them develop the skills necessary so that we can work together to further our exploration of challenging and exciting topics.
